A one storey wooden house with a suspended terrace was designed above Banská Bystrica, on a quiet site neighbouring a forest. The house is set on a slight slope with a view, in a new residential area on the outskirts of the city. The combination of titanium zinc and untreated black spruce contrasts with the surrounding smooth construction, which stands out in the adjacent forest environment.

The curved lines of the architectural mass, typical for our studio, follow the adjacent hills.

The initial design was immediately followed by building development by a contractor PASIV - DOM while the architects administered the author's supervision over the entire building and interior process.

This unusual building process was successful mainly due to the owner having experience in building construction and his creative contribution to the interior design.
