FLIGHT CONTROL TOWER M.R. ŠTEFANIK AIRPORT
In 1998, this project for the new construction of a control tower was awarded the most prestigious Slovak prize for architecture, the Dušan Jurkovič Prize. It expresses the symbols of the contemporary era– dynamism and speed.
The complex effect of the tower completed by the finishing volume underlines the sculptural expression of the architectural object.
