The house is situated in a beech forest on the outskirts of the village. Due to the northwards orientation and steep slope of the land, the house has been positioned unusually high in a natural clearing with a terrace around an old chestnut tree. Sitting on pilots, this wooden house is airy and full of light. The heaviness of the structure is broken up by playful partitions and colorful facade cladding.
construction: Self-supporting solid red spruce framed structure stands on concrete and steel pilots.
